Seoul is the capital city of Korea and a centre of politics, economy, education and cultures. Seoul is smaller than Melbourne but has a population of 10 million. Seoul has been the capital city in our history for more than 500 years, so traditional palaces are still remaining in the centre of the city.
Nowadays Seoul is one of the modernist cities in the world. And there are many famous department stores for shopping such as Namdaemun Market, Dongdaemun Market , which are famous large clothes markets and Insa-dong, and Seoul Plaza is also popular destinations for tourist. Also there is Han River which flows through the city. Seoul has very nice and beautiful night view as well.
