Sam Goes to the Zoo

Sam is a boy. He is three years old. He lives in Box Hill. He goes to a childcare centre in Canterbury Road. His mother and father work full time. His father is a doctor and his mother is a nurse. They work at Box Hill Hospital.

Last weekend Sam went to the zoo with his father and his mother. Sam watched many animals at the zoo. He liked the monkeys very much. He saw two very big elephants. He saw different animals from Africa and Asia too. He was happy and his parents took some pictures of him when he was giving food to the animals. Sam spent two hours at the zoo.

Sam went to see the lions. When Sam saw them he was afraid. He screamed and asked his parents to go home. He started crying.

His parents took him out. They gave him ice cream to make him stop crying. Sam only stopped crying when they left the zoo.

He told his parents that he wanted to see lions only on TV and not at the zoo. He was so scared.

How Tom Lost His License

Tom is a young man. He is 23 years old. He wanted to have a license to drive a car. He took a test and got his "L" license. After that he took driving lessons. These driving lessons cost him a lot of money. After three months he went to take a final test. He passed the driving test and another computer test and got his license. He was so happy.
After Tom finished his tests and got his license, he drove his car home. 20 minutes later a police car stopped him. A policeman got out of the car and talked to Tom. The policeman asked Tom why he was driving too fast. Tom was driving at 100 km per hour. He was not allowed to do that. He was allowed to drive at 60 km per hour. Tom said he was fast because he was so happy.
The policeman said it was not OK for Tom to drive too fast. Tom lost his driving license. He is not allowed to drive for 6 months. He also had to pay $450 as a fine. Tom was not happy. The policeman was not happy either.
