Caribbean Gardens

This Friday students from class 1014 will visit the Caribbean Gardens. The address is 1280 Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby, Victoria, 3179. We will carpool. We will drive along Burwood Highway and turn right on Stud Road in Wantirna.

It is free to enter the Caribbean Gardens on Wednesday and Friday but you will have to pay money on Sunday.

After we turn right on Stud Road, we will drive along for another 7 or 8 minutes and then arrive at the gardens. The gardens will be on the right. We need to arrive there at 9 am and enjoy different rides there. We are lucky because the temperature will be 20 degrees on Friday.

It is still a good idea to bring a jacket and an umbrella in case the weather changes. Also bring some money to enjoy the rides at the Caribbean Gardens. One ride will cost 3 dollars. You can go on a boat or a train for about 10 minutes. You can also bring your digital camera or mobile phone and take photos. It will be nice if you bring food from your own culture and share it with other students in class. If you like, you can buy food at the cafeteria there.

There is a market at the Caribbean Gardens. It is similar to Queen Victoria Market in the city so you can do some shopping. You can buy vegetables, clothes, presents and computer parts at the market. We will leave the gardens at 1 pm but you can stay longer if you want to. Just tell your teacher that you want to stay.

You will need to write your name and sign the excursion form that your teacher will give you. This is really important. I wish you have fun at the Caribbean Gardens.
