Dear Maria,
How are you? I live now in Melbourne, Australia. I don't like it because I have great difficulty speaking the language. I go to AMES in Box Hill to study English five days a week. The teacher's name is Ibrahim and he is from Egypt. He speaks English fast and he helps me to learn English using the internet. He also speaks Arabic. Ibrahim teaches our class three days a week.
We also have a female teacher in class. Her name is Catherine. She is from New Zealand. She teaches me two days a week. She teaches me a lot of vocabulary and grammar. She helps me improve my reading and writing . Catherine speaks English fast too.
The students in the class work in groups. They come from different countries. Some students are from China. Others are from Africa. Two students are from Iran. One student is from Burma. All the students are friendly and help each other to learn English.
We also have a student teacher. He is from Australia. His name is Suguru. His parents are from Japan. He speaks fast English. He also speaks Japanese. He is 25 years old. He was born in Box Hill Hospital. He studies at Melbourne University. He is single. He lives in Box Hill with his parents. He helps students learn about Australia.
I have to go now. I will send you an email soon.
Regards,
Thadee
