A Doctor's Appointment

A = reciptionist      B = Man on the phone
A: Good Morning. Doctor Martin's surgery. June speaking. How can I help you?
B: Oh, Hello. My name is Fred Thomas. I would like to see the doctor, please.
A: When would you like to see Dr Martin? Is it today?
B: Yes, if I can, please.
A: I am afraid Dr Martins is very busy today.
B: But I can't wait. I really need to see the doctor.
A: If I give you an appointment today, you may need to wait.
B: Not a problem. I can wait.
A: Ok. I can give you an appointment to see the doctor after he finishes examining the last patient.
B: Not a problem. I can wait. I just need to see Dr Martin. I am really sick.
A: That's fine. I'll see what I can do for you.
B: Thanks very much.
A: Now I need to ask you some questions.
B: What would you like to ask?
A: Have you been here before?
B: Yes, I have. You'll find my details on your computer. You have every thing you need - my Medicare card number and my Healthcare card details too.
A: That's fine. What is your name again, please?
B: Oh, it's Fred Thomas.
A: Ok, Mr Thomas. I'll see you at 5 o'clock.
B: Thank you for your help.
A: Not a problem. Bye
