 My name is Norman and I come from France. I came to Australia in 2008. I am married and I have one daughter. My wife’s name is Maria. My daughter’s name is Sophie. We live in Box Hill. I don’t speak English well. I speak French very well. I go to AMES in Box Hill to learn English. I go to AMES on foot. We don’t have a car. We don’t have much money.

I want to learn English and get a good job. In France I was a taxi driver. I worked as a taxi driver for 10 years. In Australia I can’t work as a taxi driver. My English is not good.
My daughter is 4 years old. She is a nice girl. She speaks a little English. She likes watching TV. She has a beautiful smile.
My wife speaks good English. She works at Safeway in Box Hill. Safeway is a big supermarket. She likes working at Safeway. She works there part time. She works three days a week. She wants to go to TAFE next year and study there. She wants to be a hairdresser.
